My story is as little man’s mummy trying to juggle being a good mum (whatever that is!) whilst juggling me.

How do you look after a little one when you can hardly look after yourself? I was diagnosed with relapse remitting MS a few years back and on my second treatment, Tecfidera (although building the dose up on my second start as side effects first time round were shocking).

I assumed I could mentally challenge myself when I went back to work but I was made redundant half way through my maternity leave. After working a busy job, completing a PGCE, being diagnosed and then becoming a Mum, I realised I wanted to look after little man but do something for me.

I couldn’t find anything to read on looking after a little one when you have a chronic condition. That’s how the writing started.

I’m proud to say I’ve writing my “Mummy with MS” articles for the “MS Matters” magazine. I’ve been featured on other MS sites (MS Trust, Shift, My MS). I’m no expert on being a mummy to little man or having MS, but every day brings its challenges.
